Alpine Lakefront Engagement Session: Kelsey + James

This engagement session was such a dream! The entire Cascade range on the I-90 corridor is peppered with gorgeous lakes like this one! Many of them have controlled water levels from mountain runoff, so the lake-beds are always changing from year to year. These two were such troopers with me! We had to transverse several tiny rivers to get to the location, which was a surprise from how much the lake had changed from year to year. The stumps were out in full force! We were lucky enough to get some golden sun rays, which can be super rare in November in Washington State. But these two were such friendly sunnies themselves I’m sure they would light up any lens they got in front of! We had such a great time frolicking around the lakebed and enjoyed the first of the fall color. I love how Kelsey’s dress just pops with this neutral backdrop!
