Adventure Elopement in the Cascades: Mackenzie + Nathan

Looking for a spot to elope in the Cascade Range that doesn’t involve a long hike or a long drive from the city? Gold Creek Pond in Snoqualmie is the perfect spot! In the summer, the lake is just a short walk from the parking lot, and in winter, its a little under a mile walk (flat, but icy!), from the parking zone. I absolutely love how this lake reflects the mountains in the backdrop of these images.

For this session, I was so lucky to work with Lori of Elegant Affairs, and Shane of Oak and Fig Floral. These vendors are amazing! Lori hand-lettered these invitations, and the bouquet Shane created felt indestructible, even though it looked totally delicate. If you're looking for vendors to fill in the details of your Pacific Northwest elopement, these two are the ones to call!

If you’re thinking about eloping at Gold Creek Pond, there are a few things to consider before you head to the mountains. A Northwest Forest Pass is required for parking in summer, and if you plan on having more than 75 people in attendance, you’ll need a special use permit. In the winter, you’ll want a sno-park permit to park. This place is glorious all year round, which makes it the perfect place to elope!
