Winter Proposal at Panoramic Point: Erika + Melina

A Snowshoe Trek to the Top of Mount Rainier

Erika proposed to her girlfriend Melina after a 2.5-mile snowshoe to Panoramic Point in Mount Rainier National Park. The trail gains about 1,900 feet of elevation and leads to one of the most scenic spots in the park. From the top, you can see Mount Adams, Mount Hood, Mount St. Helens, and the Tatoosh Range.

A Private Moment with an Unforgettable View

At the summit, Erika got down on one knee. It was quiet, snowy, and completely stunning. Right after the proposal, they popped champagne and shared a slow dance in the snow. Then they FaceTimed their families from the top of the mountain!

Support from a Friend and a Sweet Celebration

Their friend Hailey joined us and helped throughout the day. She was there for the snowshoe up and supported them every step of the way. After we made it back down the mountain, the celebration continued with donuts!
